BAKE SALE BROWNIES

8 T. (1 stick) butter or margarine cut into chunks
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 C. sugar
2 large eggs
1 t. vanilla extract
1/2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
2/3 C flour

In large bowl melt chocolate and butter stirring often. Add all other ingrediants to the butter mixture. Mix well. Pour into greased 8" square pan and cook for 22 - 27 minutes.

Note: This recipe doubles easily to fit into a 9x13" pan
